Registration is now open for the New Trier Sailing (NTS) Spring 2026 season! Please review the Spring 2026 Registration page for registration details and instructions. This is an exciting time for all of our sailors as we gear back up for the spring season and the kick-off of our championship season!
To prioritize sailor safety and ensure strong preparation for early-season qualifiers, Varsity practices will begin before JV.
- Varsity sailors are required to own a drysuit and must use it at practice until coaches determine conditions are warm enough to sail without one.
- JV sailors are strongly encouraged to own a drysuit. On colder days, sailors without a drysuit may not be able to sail.
All sailors who participated in Fall 2025 must complete the Sailor Input Form before the spring season begins.
Varsity registration requires prior approval from Coach Telmo. Registering for Varsity does not guarantee a spot on the team.
Spring 2026 Schedule
Varsity
- March 16: Mandatory boat setup day for all Varsity sailors
- March 17 – April 2: Practices held Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
- April 7 – May 28: Practices held Tuesday / Thursday, with select Fridays when there are no travel regattas
JV
- April 6 – May 27: Practices held Monday / Wednesday
- JV sailors may be invited to join Varsity at select Friday practices by coach invitation
