The New Trier Regatta was on April 24, 2021 at Chicago Yacht Club. Nate Zweig ‘22, Santiago Benes ‘24, Evan O’Connor ‘23, Noah Sinclair ‘24, Izzy Rietz ‘24, Ann Tokoyoda ‘24, Van Crocker ‘24, Katja Siebrits ‘24, Kate Dischner ‘24, and Tara Hecht ‘24 competed. We competed against our friends from around the area including Walter Payton College Prep and Latin College Prep.
Temperatures were in the high 40’s and the winds remained very light throughout the day (5 mph out of the SE). As the day went on, the sun came out, as well! Despite the light wind, it was a great day to sail and we all had lots of fun doing it.
