Hi NTS Sailors and Families! We are excited for another fun season of sailing! You can find all the tryout and registration information on our Fall 2025 Registration page. Please make sure to complete registration for both the Chicago Yacht Club (CYC) and NTS by the August 22 deadline.
Tryouts will be conducted on August 23 and 24 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Belmont Harbor and practices will kick off after Labor Day. The first day of practice for Varsity will be September 2nd, while the first JV practice will be on September 3rd. Practices will run from 4PM to 7PM at Belmont Harbor. JV and Sonar will practice every Monday and Wednesday while Varsity will have practice every Tuesday, Thursday and non-travel Fridays. Bus transportation from the NT Winnetka campus will be provided for all JV practices.
Also, please take note of the separate registration for the High School Pipeline camp next week (Aug 11 -15). This great opportunity is highly recommended for newer sailors to meet some of the coaches and familiarize themselves with the boats and harbor prior to tryouts.
