Tryouts for the 2019-20 season will be held at Chicago Yacht Club’s Belmont Station from 4-7 p.m. on August 21. (If the weather on the 21st does not allow for sailing, tryouts will be held on the 22nd at the same time and place.)
Click here for more information on eligibility and what to bring. All sailors must attend tryouts, whether or not they were on the team in previous seasons.
Coach Matt Peter will announce the teams on August 23rd.
We will hold a mandatory one-hour parent-sailor kickoff meeting on August 26th at the Wilmette Public Library in the basement auditorium. Sailors new to the team should join from 6:30 to 7:30 and returning sailors from 7:30 to 8:30.
The first day of practice will be Tuesday, September 3.
