Tryouts are held to assign sailors to either Varsity, Junior Varsity or Development squad. The coaches will assess all sailors and make an appropriate placement during the first week of the season. As the season progresses, sailors may be moved between squads at the coaches’ discretion. In the past,
we have been able to place all sailors on a squad. In the event that interest exceeds our capacity, it is possible that not everyone will given a spot.
